Hertfordshire Constabulary Police Officer Recruitment– IPLDP+
Herts Police are offering, for the final time, the opportunity to become a police officer via the Initial Police Learning and Development Programme (IPLDP+).
The IPLDP+ is a well-established programme of initial learning, which takes two years to complete. You will undertake a period of initial learning at our training school, before moving to your designated policing area for tutoring and further operational coaching. Once you have successfully passed IPLDP+ you will be able to consider further opportunities of progression and specialism within the Force.
The starting salary for all new recruits is £24,780 plus a southeast allowance of £2,500. On the current system, officers can expect to be earning a salary of more than £41,000 per annum by your seventh year in the job.
The opportunity to run IPLDP+ is for a limited time only due to the licence being extended which is fantastic for our candidates to have an array of entry route available. Our other entry routes offered are; Police Constable Degree Apprentice (PCDA) for those who wish to gain a degree qualification as they learn and the Degree Holder Entry Programmes (DHEP) for those who hold a degree already. Please see our careers home page where you can apply for the PCDA & DHEP routes.
